Five nights at Freddy's is a highly-acclaimed indie point and click adventure game produced and published by Scott Cawthon of Fullbright. It's his fourth installment from the Five Nights In Freddy's series. This time around, there are three teens - Jason (Dylan Minnette), Billy (Ben Myers), and Freddy (Nathan Fillion) who have only gotten a job at the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza socket in Fazbear City. The first night, they are about to go on a trip to the playground in which Freddy conducts his restaurant. Freddy is a fan of movies like"A Nightmare On Elm Street", therefore he's looking forward to seeing it again.
After settling their money, they head outside to Freddy's Pizza on the night that he is advised to start his series. They are dressed to impress, as Freddy is a really famous artist. The doors of the office are open, but as Jason and Billy hurry in, Freddy grabs them. Jason and Billy operate out, while Freddy opens the doors of his office. Inside, Freddy takes off his mask, revealing his true identity - Freddy Kruger.
Freddy immediately starts to assault Jason and Billy. Freddy uses his magic powers to turn people to stone or to make different objects go on their own - like a truck ahead of Jason. In addition, he makes Jason feel sick. Freddy also uses his ability to restrain people, such as when he gets Jason believes he is having a heart attack.
Freddy is even more terrifying when he rolls Jason, turning him into a skeleton. Jason can fight back, however, by using his unique powers of telekinesis and his voice. Jason manages to catch Freddy, but Freddy uses his power to throw Jason into another dimension. Jason gets his memory back and heads straight back to Freddy's Pizza.
However, Freddy has an ulterior motive - to get back at Jason and Billy for kidnapping him and breaking his soul. If Jason kills Billy or Jason, he'll end up with a trophy. So, Jason and Billy visit the pizzeria to find their killer...
Five nights at Freddy's turns the usual point and click action sport in the last games into a full-scale terror experience. The images are amazing. The audio is excellent. The voice acting is superb. However, there are a number of glitches in the plot.
Freddy is always around, but he never attacks Jason or even Billy. Freddy is simply a backdrop character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are actually fake, which Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy must find out what happened on Freddy and stop him before it's too late.
While the story of nights at freddy's 4 Five Nights at Freddy's is a fascinating one, it might not be the best one around. Due to how the game has been put together, the events that happen may appear unnecessary or confusing at first. But once the story and the characters are clarified and the plot begins to fall into place, the game begins to make sense.
